I am retaking the DAT in July, have a GPA of about 3.47 and science is around 3.2. I am retaking a course but transcript wont be out for that specific course until August. I am sending my application around late June so all I have left is to update DAT in July. I will be letting schools know of my retake course transcript coming in August as it will be taken at a different university (this may boost my GPA to about 3.5 depending on how Dental schools count a retake). Where do you think I stand if I apply to about 20 schools? Do I have a shot if I achieve a DAT 20+?
Extracurriculars include dental shadowing (2 dentists 130+ hrs), Research (200 hrs), Hospital & Injury Rehabilitation volunteering (120 hrs), Community service (30 hrs), member of several clubs on campus and participant in dance teams.
