This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Has anyone ever accepted an interview invitation then gotten and interview for the same date and had to pick one? If so do you have to cancel one? I'm struggling with this now, I have two interviews for 11/17 and accepted one, but just got one for a program I'd rather go to :( ugh

Any advice would be super appreciated!!

If you can't attend both I'd ask if you could reschedule one of them. If not, choose the one you'd rather go to and inform the other school that you will be declining their interview invitation.

I think if you retook the GRE to get your verbal to 150 you would be a much stronger applicant.

Isn't too late to do that?
Many schools will not accept a GRE score past the deadline and many of them won't accept any GRE score taken after November 1st.

I guess you’re right. Your stats are really good except for your verbal GRE

Do you have any advice for the interview? Bellarmine is my first choice and I am waiting to hear from them for an interview. Also, what do you think made you stand out? My GPA and GRE are pretty similar to yours.
Hi guys! I wanted to post in here because it has really helped me with applying over the years. This is my second cycle applying, so I was starting to really doubt myself. I had four interviews last cycle and was waitlisted at all of them. I also had ~5 denials. I applied at Bellarmine University during early decision August 4th, interviewed September 15th, and I got accepted on September 19th! I hope this gives others with low GPAs and GRE scores ambition. I definitely recommend working as a PT aide if possible because it gave me so much experience to talk about during my interview. Never give up on your dreams!

I heard back with an interview invite on October 13th, but declined the interview because the cost of the program as well as the cost of living in D.C. is way too high (I already have a scholarship to Drexel). Hope this helps.

*My stats aren't amazing, don't get too worked up about your stats. Just write a killer essay and have great letters of recommendation and you will be fine. Let me know if you have anymore questions. Good luck to everyone applying!
Could you tell me a little more about the acceptance process for Minnesota like how long they give you to accept and/or put down a deposit and how much the deposit is?
