Haha I really don't know but it's okay UTMB was not my first choice. Fingers crossed for the other schools. 🙂

Rejections: NSU (11/2)
I'm so excited to have been accepted! They were clearly able to look beyond my stats! I know that I have a lot more to offer than those numbers portray and I can't wait to start. I will most likely be attending Midwestern but am still waiting to hear back from 2 schools.

@ashnicolee43 is one of the other two schools you are waiting to hear from your top choice?
And I have to say I'm kinda surprised that GRE score didn't hold you back. Midwestern must either not weight it as heavily or they really liked you in the interview. 🙂
USF was my top choice but after further research I'm not so sure anymore. I will fully decide after I hear from them in February. USF doesn't require the GRE so that won't affect me there.
And I know. I figured that would hurt me but I don't think they weigh them as heavily. I'm pretty sure that's why I got rejected for NSU. And yes, I think the interview helped as well.

Just wondering- is this Midwestern Downers Grove or Glendale? I applied to the DG campus back in August with similar stats to yours and haven't heard anything from them!
University: Drew University
Major: Neuroscience
Overall GPA: Undergrad? 3.3. I had a really rough time my first couple years, but had steady improvement as I grew up. It's probably gone up since, as I'm a non-trad who's been out of school since 2006 and has been taking post-bac classes.
Pre-Req GPA: I'll edit this when I get a calculation from PTCAS. As of right now I don't know what the official will be.
Extras: Worked in pharmaceutical sciences since graduation, usually in oncology. Volunteered for two years at a suicide helpline. Roller derby player on an internationally ranked team. Coach of a top 8 men's roller derby team. President of a bunch of singing groups in college. Working on NASM certification. Volunteer at soup kitchen.
Volunteer Hours: About 50 PT right now, working on more. Most at a nursing home rehabilitation clinic.
GRE: V 166 Q 154 AW 4.5
Applying: Everywhere. I'm serious. I'm non-trad and my GPA isn't great and I know that. My top choice is Boston University.
Interview: Will update.
Rejected: Will update.
Accepted: Hopefully somewhere! If not I know I'll try, try again. 😉

Did you apply to Nova Southeastern Fort Lauderdale?
Nope, I didn't. After taking a look at their class format I decided it wasn't the way that I, personally, learn. Props to people who are that self-motivated!
And I've applied to ten schools so far and am looking at a few more before their February/March deadlines.
my prereq GPA is a 3.6. my overall GPA with retakes is a 3.4.
it's less like i feel like i HAVE to apply to more schools and more like i'm stressing about tweaking my supplemental essays and allowing for a little more time shadowing.
i'm sure i'm not the only nontraditional applicant who is pulling gray hairs out daily and mentally screaming, AHHHHH I'M 30 AND I JUST WANT TO BE IN SCHOOL AND LEARNING AND NOT WORRYING ANYMORE!
