Congrats. I interviewed at UNE after you on 03/05 and was placed on the waitlist. Hopefully, I'll see myself coming off the waitlist as well since UNE is my main school this cycle.

Yea I finally received the email last week saying they had received my deposit and would be sending more info via mail later this month. I'm just ready to get everything going, hoping for more info to come this week!

I haven't heard anything about a FB group either so if you guys find out about it let me know! I got the same email saying there would be more info to come but I know they're on spring break right now so we might not hear anything for a week or so.

Thanks so much! They both were my dream schools honestly. Most likely BU, depends if they give me scholarship or not because I can't justify paying a lot more money.. Lol. Oh where are you going to go instead? Congrats on RU south, I was wait listed 😛 ... I thought their program seemed good but the location left a lot to be desired.. I also would rather go to a program with a larger cohort. The good thing about RU is that it is cheaper. You also have similar stats to me, it's awesome that we both got in even though we had lower overall GPAs.. See anything is possible 🙂

All DPTs in the end. Personally RU South was my top choice. I was a fan of the small class sizes and I like that the area seemed low key. Commuting to class with be easy and will be easy to focus on classes. I went to undergrad at Rowan which is close by and there is always Philly for if I have time off.

I also really enjoyed my interview and the facility, but I can see how some people would want to be in a more busy town, and besides the proximity to Tom Brady, Boston is a pretty cool place.

Anyone heard anything about University of Scranton waitlist? Or any accepted student here?

I live in Massachusetts and would have LOVED to go to BU or MGH -- you are right though, costs are crazy high and COL in boston can be rough -- But everyone in the area has such great things to say about both programs and PT's that graduate from them, so I think you'll be a well prepared PT no matter which one you pick! 🙂
I decided against RU south -- like you said, the location was ehhh nothing special and I found out that out of state tuition is about 140k! YIKES!! :wideyed:
So I decided to stick with AT Still in Arizona. Class size is larger, newer equipment and facility -- plus cost is MUCH cheaper!
Never thought I'd even have to pick between programs with my GPA, but hey like you said - anything is possible! 😉

No, I politely declined my interview and got a "congrats!" Back from Mary! After a two year correspondence with her it was very nice to hear that! 🙂

Where would you rather go western or west coast ?
When I went to West Coast, I actually loved the school and the professors! I think they have a great program there! However, I think I would pick WesternU over West Coast due to the fact that I can live at home and not take out as much loans from living in LA

For anyone waiting on Seton Hall I got the call today I was accepted but declined so hopefully that helps someone out!

Curious if UW Madison gave you any particular reason for the rejection? Your stats and overall information seem on PAR with their average so i'm curious their reasoning, if any.

Could it be the lower pre req GPA?

Oh man really? That's crazy to me that so many people on the waitlist don't accept their seat if it opens up to them! I'll check back with them in a couple weeks and see what happens, I already had to put my deposit down for LIU though.
Did LIU have a deadline when to place a deposit?

Could it be the lower pre req GPA?
Nope, no reason given. They just said I wasn't selected and wished me luck in future endeavors. My best guess is that I am both out of state and out of region. Public programs have been historically known to prefer in-state applicants, or at least in-region. With that being said, I would say yes, my GPA and GRE scores were not nearly high enough to be competitive with the other few out-of-state applicants who DID get accepted.
