Next time you are in lecture and bored to tears try this....
You and a few of your friends pick nine of the biggest gunners in the class. You then write thier names down on a piece of paper bingo style (three rows and three columns). Then as the gunners ask questions during lecture, you mark them off. First one to get three in a row wins the satisfaction of a day well spent in class. The best part of the whole game you ask....not falling asleep again.

Any other ideas out there?

I gotta say, thats a pretty sweet idea. 9 gunners seems like quite a bit tho.

Yes, gunner bingo is a time honored tradition. My friend in law school introduced me to it. He and his friends play gunner bingo in class, but for them to claim thier victory they have to raise their hand and somehow work the word "bingo" into a question for the prof.

I thought gunner bingo was pretty funny... 'til I saw I was on one of my friend's cards. Okay, so it's still pretty funny. Anything to pass the time...

At our school, we organized multiple 5 by 5 bingo sheets based on the quirks of our professors and what they might say. A few of the student (gunners) were necessarily included too.
Then over the week, people would mark them off and our winner also had to ask a question with 'bingo' in it to win (I think the winner got a $10 gift certificate).
It is the only way to survive too many hours of lecture...

This game might be enough to make me go to lectures next year..... okay, maybe not, but if I find myself there, I will definitely start up a game.

Word, I've got to play this and working in bingo into a question for the professor sounds hella fun.😀

Shoot, I'm the only gunner.

Shows why I need to get into a University instead of some podunk cc.
😀

Waaayy too funny!!! I'll have to do this. Better yet, I should set some bingo cards up for next year's MS1s.

oh, I love this idea. It almost makes me wish I was still going to lecture. Sometimes the only thing that would keep me sane in class was sitting in the back laughing at the gunner questions.
