Ugh, sigh. Thanks for all of the info guys. Of all of the waitlist threads I am keeping up with, this one is definately the most active! I really hope everyone gets in, and it helps that we are all in the same boat. I am getting so nervous now that I know most of the action will be over the next two weeks....

Just wanted to let you know I withdrew late last week, it was a really tough decision, I loved GW, but I got into my state school, which I also love, and is a ton cheaper.

So the list is still moving, and good luck to you all

Hey everyone! I keep checking in hopes of finding good news from one and all. I am sure good news is coming...hang in there! 🙂

I didn't answer a couple of questions a while back, but here you go.

A member of the committee called me at 4:40 pm. So, it seems like they can call any time of the day. That's good -- you don't have to fret if you have not heard by 12:00! For your own sanity (and I am speaking from experience), try your best not to obsess about it because a. that makes you crazy (again -- personal experience) and b. it seems like these experiences always strike when you are least expecting it. Know what I mean?

Oh, by the way, I think that the committee will mostly make phone calls at this point. It makes sense since it is the most efficient way. That way, if someone turns them down (those fools!) then they can just dial up another one of you deserving folks! I think that they actually tried my cell phone before calling me at work. If they have a number or two from you and your e-mail as a back-up, you should be good to go and will not miss anything!

I'm guessing you all worked so hard to get here, and I am keeping my fingers crossed for you!

I just got the call!!!!! Jason in the admissions office called and said he was confirming that I was still interested in the school and when I said I was, he offered me admission! I gushed 😀 😀 😀 😀 😀

Anyway, I wanted to let everyone who's still waiting know that the list is still moving! Good luck--I really hope to see all of you in August!
