GYN Oncologist

Hey I have a quick question. Ok I know that it takes 4 years of residency to become an OB-GYN doctor but how much longer does it take to become a Gyn Oncologist? Thanks

3 years additional training to fill in the operative deficiencies from their OBGYN residency

Most of the gyn-onc fellowships are 3 years. Of course you could always throw in a year of research or something but usually ~7 years total.
