I've a question. quarter credit doesn't have to be converted to semester hours? unlike last application?
 
I don't see GPA calculations on this new one anymore. bummer.
 
Do we send our MCAT scores from AAMC or do we just input our scores on the app? Also, when manually inputting the MCAT score, the test taken dates are not consistent. If you select for example, Jan. 13th as your test date, when you save it the app shows the test taken date one day behind? Anyone else see this?

Must send your scores through the MCAT THX system. Really simple process.
 
Everytime I submit an
"experience" it disappears! I should be able to look and modify them, right?
 
It crashed on me as well. Oh well, guess I should be productive.

Anybody else disappointed that the letter service doesn't accept letters from interfolio?

So I'm back in the system but have no idea how to get back into the application, can't tell if going crazy

Same thing happens to me when I enter MCAT test date. Gives the day earlier. I emailed them about it...should be an easy fix.

Same, I contacted interfolio to see if there will be any issue. Will contact aacomas about it further down the line before submission.

Hey, question: If you had the same job but did full time, then part time and then full time again, would you list as three separate experiences or average the hours/week and enter it once

Let me know if they you do manage to do otherwise. Individually sending out my letters sounds like it could be a pain.
 
Interesting how last year the app was actually "powered by" Interfolio, and now their new letter service won't even accept letters from Interfolio? Wonder what happened there...

I just put my peoples' names and copied the interfolio email in the spot it asked for. Let's see what happens.
 
Any info on how to go about entering AP credit? where is the official instruction booklet for this cycle?

Yep, just sent mine. Log in to the MCAT scores website, then at the top My Reports> send scores electronically

So the letters stored at my health professions office will have to be individually sent? I guess the office will take care of that ?

quik question: Our CAS ID is now our AACOMAS ID right? its a series of 10 numbers under our name?
 
Hum, and I was just about to get an Interfolio account and start getting my letters in order. Glad to hear the AACOMAS is taking care of that instead from now on 👍

Yeap, once you submit your first app officially to a program it's locked in, review and finalize is to set your repeat courses, honors, ap, etc
 
On the AACOMAS transcript coursework entry, do I need to include the courses I plan on taking my senior year? Note: I am currently a junior in second semester.
 
Do I have to get a new username and password with this new system because my old one isn't working???
 
For the colleges attended section, are you guys using the start or end date or your last semester there?

Like if I attended Fall 2013 - Spring 2014:

Is it Fall, August 2013 - Spring, January 2014 (the first month of semester) or Fall, August 2013 - Spring, May 2014 (last month of semester)?

I put last month (May not January) because if you think about it, if you only took one semester of courses (like me as a post-bacc) it would make no sense to put Jan 2015 to Jan 2015. I.E., the "final" month should be the last month of the semester, not the first.
