Can everyone who has gotten in try logging in to the financial aid site and verifying that you are able to sign in? I can't log in, and I want to make sure this means I am not accepted, as I have not received any mail yet. Please, please!

Correct me if I'm wrong, but at the interview they said they interviewed 800-1000 candidates and accepted 180 off the bat for their class of 165. From the MSAR, they accept 225, which means approximately 45 out of the 85 waitlisted... which would come to the exact % of those that get in off the waitlist according to their FAQ.

Am I making this up? Dammit. If this were any other school but Harvard, all us waitlisters would be IN!

Thanks for the kind words, Risa. I guess it's good to have closure, but it's just so hard to go through all of the stress and get your hopes up only to be rejected. I almost wish I had never gotten an interview.

Congrats to all the rest of you. Even if I can't get in, I'm glad that some other people who shared this ordeal will have the opportunity. You all have some amazing profiles and really deserve this!

Last year, only admitted students could log in. I strongly suspect it is the same way this year. Congrats!!!!!

I just got mine today (I'm claiming it to still be Saturday). I'm in Michigan. I'm sure it's still on its way. Nothing in the packet needs a quick reply, but I'll admit I wasn't calm until I had the packet for sure either.

Congrats to everyone who got into HST! I will be going to the research symposium this Friday (I go to MIT) and will definitely let you all know. I believe every year they put all the research abstracts online somewhere...they should be up this week. And yes, hearing David Ho speak is going to be awesome!!!🙂

not true. 1985 was first year of new pathway, and only 25 students participated (by lottery). thus, the rest of the class received a "traditional" education.
