I received my acceptance call a couple days ago!! I am so excited, I have always wanted to live in the bay and really liked the atmosphere of the school during the interview. Has anyone else heard back yet?

congrats out of curiosity can you list your stats or post it in the acceptance sticky?

cumulative GPA: 3.6
pre-req GPA: 4.0
volunteer/observation: 95 hrs

did you apply to Samuel Merritt?

Congrats! I also received an acceptance call on Monday 🙂

Congrats!!! 🙂 Are you moving to the bay or do you live in the area?

I am from the bay but I don't live there currently. If I choose Samuel Merritt I will definitely be moving back. Will you be accepting the offer?

I was accepted as well! I know its premature but does anyone know where they are going to live considering they don't have on campus housing?

Yes I got a call last Tuesday 🙂.

I'm eccstatic but definitely nervous about the debt. I just pray I get into SJSU.

message me if you like.

I got a call last monday that I was accepted too! But I'm leaning towards SJSU because it is cheaper for me. However, I can honestly say SMU is a great school with good faculty/students and a good curriculum. If I didn't have SJSU, I'd pick SMU for sure.

Hey! Yeah I recently got in also can you message me!?

SMU has a minimum science GPA of 3.0. Those of you who got accepted, do you have 3.0 science GPA?

Yes, my science GPA is 4.0. The SMU website says a 3.0 is recommended, and the current class had a 3.15 average science GPA.

Which courses count towards Science GPA? Anything in the natural sciences (Bio, chem, physics, A&P)?

Yes, just the natural science courses. OTCAS calculates it for you when you fill out the application
