For transfer, there was some story about a woman who got into Yale Law who wrote about lifetime crack addiction or crack whoring or something like that...spun it like she changed her life.
It was in some Yale newspaper.

I wouldnt try it though, especially if you are not a [woman, AA, hispanic....] from a really poor background. Scratch that, I wouldn't try it.

And don't even think about mentioning it for medschool.

For a bunch of so-called smart kids, you are oblivious to trolls.

What are you talking about, busted? Because I said before that it was a transfer question and people didn't listen. GREAT LOGIC! And my story is not a lie you dumb****

Why are you posting about transferring colleges in a medical school forum? I am so confused.
🙄

And NO. Do NOT mention in any college related thing that you used to deal drugs....unless you're the type of person who also slashes your own tires before you're about to head for a job interview.

This was actually a completely serious question. Some people have had different circumstances than yours and i'm sorry my life isn't/wasn't as perfect as yours. I just figured I would get a mature answer out of intelligent people.

From "Chappelle's Show":

Rick James: "Why you hit me like that Charlie Murphy?!?!"

Charlie Murphy: "Cause you hit me, man!!"

Rick: "That was weeks ago, motherf****r!!"

Charlie: "NO!! It was tonight!!"

Rick: "What? I..I hit you tonight..."

Charlie(voice over): I could see that he had no idea, he had really forgot."

Rick (Being interveiwed): "Cocaine is a hell of drug."

Drug abuse is treated fairly leniently in some state, harshly in others. At some places, the OP's background would not harm his chances of a transfer, at others it would eliminate them.

By the way, some medical licensing boards are more lenient than others regarding drug use by future or current physicians. Wisconsin is one of the more lenient ones. As I recall, if one has been clean and sober for two years, one does not have to mention what happened in the past.

The OP might check the medical license application forms in the states where he wants to go to school and/or practice medicine to see what their attitude would be towards his past.

You chose to be a drug dealer, not because you were kicked out of school or because you had no other circumstances in your life to support your family or yourself. You chose it because you were going through a phase that caused you to choose this lifestyle; just like a gay guy decides to take it up the hershey highway.

Why would I give you a mature response when your post is an obvious troll. I'm not new to the internets. If you wanted real advice you wouldn't talk about how you became a drug dealer for a year; which you should just call a one-hit wonder, not a success story in the game. If you were really in a bad situation that made you become a dealer, you wouldn't get out of the situation in one school year...

P.S. whoever sold you the coke was the biggest dealer in your area, not you.

Yes i made that choice on my own by way of no other circumstances. I didnt say I was proud of it but it's something I did. I was a miniature cocaine dealer for a couple years before I became big for a year so this was not a spur of the moment thing. But it wasnt easy to leave the game so I am actually proud of myself for accomplishing this. Not everyone has a perfect life like yourself. Now I am asking a simple question so you dont need to insult me okay. I thought if I asked intelligent people who know what they're doing, they might provide me with some insight.. i wasnt trying to brag. So if you have no advice for me on a positive level.. please keep all negativity to yourself..

P.S. the person who sold it to me was not in my area ******* so before you make assumptions.. learn the facts.

There's your first mistake. Intelligent people who know what they're doing also know that they're intelligent. You will rarely, if ever, get useful insight from these people. More often than not what you will receive is an onslaught of sarcasm and insults.

Aljazera: For someone who prides him/herself on their troll-spotting capabilities, you sure have all the familiar symptoms of a troll. I should know, we can smell our own.

Honest and serious advice:
Be grateful if the drug stuff did not actually net you a criminal record or anything that will haunt you. Let the past be the past and NEVER mention your criminal past ANYWHERE, including on the internet, ever again.
