Help, what class would be best for the DAT?

Which class? I need to take 2 pre dental ancillary classes, such as bio chem, micro bio, anat & phys, etc. I will be able to take 1 of the 2 this summer, before the DAT. Which class would best get me ready for the DAT (& dental school)?

I'm currently in a kaplan class and I'm pretty happy with it so far. I guess it depends how good your teacher is and how much additional time you put into it. They also have practice exams which is a great way to prepare.
I also just bought some audio DAT cassettes (since I have an hour + commute to work). Just got them so I can't really comment on them.
Also, go to <a href="http://www.predentalhelp.com." target="_blank">www.predentalhelp.com.</a> Click on DAT and then DAT Success. This will link you to one of the best sites that I've seen for DAT study materials (Books, audio, videos, flashcards etc.).

I would say biochem if you have to choose one; none of them will be directly on the test, but there may be a few questions with biochem "flava" if you will, and it will give you more organic chem review (if it is a chemistry based course).

Also remember though that these are courses in which you may want to take your time because you will see them again in dental school so you may not want to rush through. I would advise dont take anat and phys. I am currrently taking a 5 hour course in it and I can say with certainty I couldnt get as much out of it in a summer no matter how hard the teacher and I tried.

I definitely agree with the A&P. If you have not had a physiology course yet, I highly reccommend taking it. Also, embryo. is good. Don't find yourself like this <img border="0" alt="[Wowie]" title="" src="graemlins/wowie.gif" /> when you reach the physio. section!! Be like this <img border="0" alt="[Laughy]" title="" src="graemlins/laughy.gif" /> instead!!!

Thanks to everyone! I work full time so I must take it in the summer or as a night class (which I don't think it is usually offered as at my school) I will go for A & P. I hope it will still help me on the DAT in August.

If you are going to take DAT, I would suggest you take A&P ( anatomy and Physiology ) lots of it in the DAT.
