Find yourself a better school that values your strengths. It's better to get rejected by a bad school where you don't fit than struggle mentally at such a school and depriving yourself of a better opportunity for professional growth and development. There will be a better school for you where you will fit in and flourish.

For the waitlist are we all in numerical order, and whoever said yes to active reserve fastest is placed at the top of list & someone drops we move up? Or is it a list that is referenced in no order?

They stated in the email that there is no order at all and no, we do not move up even if someone drops. They will do a review of our file again as a whole and decide from there.

It’s looked down upon until later in the cycle. They’re still adding people to said waitlist as we speak.

You can send it today if you’d like, im sure they’re aware a majority of the applicants they’ve placed on the waitlist would like a spot as well, so receiving an influx of intent emails wouldn’t necessarily help your chances.

They also explicitly wrote on their website FAQs NOT to reach out regarding your application status.

I find this confusing however. A thank you letter and/or letter on intent are not inquires as to application status. Are they opposed to nay sort of letters at all?

A thank you letter after an interview and letter of intent are 2 different things. I’m sharing my opinion based on what I know, you are free to contact them if you’d like.
 
I was thinking today how some schools just completely ghost applicants… I haven’t received any sort of update and feel that’s what they’re doing/about to do to me for context I applied EC in July and it’s been decision pending since around early august

It’s only 17 of us currently, but you have 30 days to confirm seat reservation & once you pay initial deposit you’re sent an Official GroupMe invite. So There’s still hope considering those who interviewed already were waitlisted
 
I interviewed, was waitlisted and now I am on "active reserve" I asked for a feedback on why I wasn't selected and this is was the reply "We appreciate your desire to get feedback on your application, which we are not able to provide. However, as someone who was selected for an interview and invited to join our Active Reserve list, you can be confident that your application was among the top group that was reviewed this cycle. Your application status is still active and under consideration."

I did that last cycle in Feb. It wasn't a real interview. It was for people that were declined but to give them interview experience and feedback. It was first come first serve. Like whoever clicked the link first and made an interview appointment was able to attend.

I did one in Feb last year. They aren't "real" interviews, just first come first serve whoever clicks the link in the email first and can make an interview. It is more like practice and good feedback.
 
Here I am with still no update or interview after applying EC in June i interviews last cycle last minute on the last day after they already accepted their 60 and was placed on active reserve 🥲
 
for any accepted student who is willing to answer, has the groupme students increased? with decision day being last week ik some students get many offers

Probably not, I’ve heard it’s just luck of the draw & there’s no ranking system for those waitlisted. I’m not getting my hopes up that I’ll be taken off and honestly I don’t expect to be contacted anymore this cycle from them. Not sure why they waitlist everyone who gets an interview… at least that’s what it seems like.
 
Does anyone know if it is still 26 that have confirmed (been accepted)?
 
anyone interviewing next week get the pre-interview activity yet?

Not sure. I know they mentioned that last year; however, they did not disclose that information this cycle

I haven’t had an interview nor a rejection letter. My app says decision pending since August and I applied EC. Pretty sure I’ll be ghosted

Probably about 200 ppl or so still on the waitlist. They interviewed approximately 275 so far and about 30 have been accepted
