My portal has been in decision pending for about four months now and I have never received an interview invite. Idk but its not looking to good for me

Mines been decision pending for about 2 months now, I know you’ve heard this before but try to be patient. They have more interviewing dates coming up soon so cross those fingers and hope for the best. Goodluck!

No clue. They told people who interviewed in June & July that we would hear back in August, and other groups have been told various things from 60 days to mid fall to October, etc. so who knows right now. I’d love to know if somebody has sent an email though.

No one has gotten an acceptance yet. I am an in a group chat of people who have already interviewed and no one has heard anything since their interview date. Just remember that it is a new school and they are now having to interview while having their first class. So hopefully acceptances will be sent out soon. Best of luck!
 
Hey folks. I'm going to be writing my Casper next week. Do you think it's too late to apply here?
 
I completed my Casper test and got my results back, but my portal is still showing "Application received awaiting review" it's been like that for almost 2 months

Something similar is happening to me but I am stuck at "under review" and have been for about 7-8 weeks.
I think they are a little backed up at this point and time from starting their first cohort and rolling out a new residency/educational program. Hopefully your application gets reviewed soon!

Mines have been saying decision pending for about 4 months now, and I haven't received any interview invite. Some people on here said they received interviews a couple days before the interview day so I wouldn't be too worried.

Bc HPU doesnt follow AADSAS traffic rules, I don't think it's even possible for them to know if you withdrew or not. Mostly just on your honor, I'm guessing. I agree, in this situation, I'd keep my options open.
 
for the interview, is the haptic lab also part of the interview? as in they’re evaluating you as well

You get scored on it, I remember last year they announced at the end who did the best. I want to say honestly you are scored/assessed on every portion of the day so I'd try my best in all the activities that take place.

Same, applied on 5/1 and took casper on 5/3. Have been on decision pending for a couple months now. Part of me wishes I did EC and had a chance to interview earlier but I did not like the binding agreement statement.
 
I know this sounds like false hope, but be patient guys. They can’t interview all of us right away. I’m sure they prioritize the EC applicants first. Once they exhaust most of the EC applicants, they’ll probably start interviewing more of us regular applicants. Interviews stay going out until late February. Don’t stress much.

No but I also feel like that’s a ploy to make more people apply. Their class currently is full of students with science backgrounds and masters, I think maybe 1 or 2 people don’t have a bachelors in science degree

I thought this too but their application is free so why try to lure more students to apply? It’s feeling like it’s hard to get noticed among the hundreds of other people

trueee, so wondering if someone is a hygienist they still have dental exp but taken diff classes as someone who is pre dent, how would the school choose per say?

I think that is why there is a list of classes that fit into their CARE model. They do not require prerequisites, but I would assume they would evaluate you based on whether you have taken some courses that would fit into each category of the CARE model. I think if you have received the interview, they may have already completed that part of reviewing and evaluating your coursework. I think at that point, it is just a matter of whether you fit into their school as a person or not during the interview. But this is just my thoughts. Since this school is still new, I do not think unless someone is directly from the school, they cannot really say how HPU evaluates candidates internally other than what has been put out to be shared with us.

hey everyone! would u guys happen to kno if we get called regardless or only if it’s an acceptance?
 
Does anyone know how long it takes to get a possible interview? I’ve taken my Casper 3 weeks ago and checking my email lol also, I applied last month but my portal says “under review”
