High Yield Series-older is better?

So I managed to get a HY Cell/Molec first edition from an upperclassman. Its about 60 pages shorter than the newer edition I also own.

Does anyone know whether the Previous editions of Neuroanatomy are higher yield and contain less filler when compared to the newer ones?

Haven't seen the newer editions, but the older one I used (can't remember which) covered everything I encountered on Step I with very little filler. An excellent resource.
