got into gtown smp a couple of months ago and was planning on doing it cuz i've got friends in the program, have heard good things, etc. but i recently got accepted to drexel's ims program, and now i'm not so sure. not only is drexel's program about $10k cheaper (and close to home), but i'm also really into the "guaranteed interview" bit. even though it's two years to get the masters at drexel, i'm not in this for another degree...i'm doing it to get my md!!
however, i still feel that the georgetown name is somehow more prestigious and may be more appealing to adcoms. just wondering if anyone else is dealing with this as well or if anyone has detailed info about drexel's program...there seem to be tons of posts about georgetown but not drex.
