Ok, so i called one med school today and I got to talk to SOMEONE and he told me numbers were good but lectured me on my Hours per Week thing saying that I did not put it down for a number of activities.

I was wondering, were we suppose to quantify awards and presentations in hours per week.
These were instances so i thought the hours per week was optional.

And if it is a detriment, should i consider this to be the end of my application cycle.

Send an email to the schools explaining what happened and offering to update them with the hours per week if they wish.

This is by no means the end of your application. If something as trite as this were all it took to keep people out of a cycle, then I'd be long gone. At worst, it could be something they ask you about in an interview, but as long as your GPA/MCAT/ECs are are on the up and up, you should be fine.

Awards and presentations don't need hours per week, since they're one shot deals. Maybe there was something recurring, like volunteering, that didn't have hours listed?

Volnteering and Research both have hours/week written. The only ambiguous one is my shadowing which i put in the description because i thought it would of been snide to put down 148 hours per week since I lived in a hospital(foreign) to do the shadowing. So instead, i put it in description the length of time i was there and I stayed in the hospital entire time.

This is really weird.

The person on the other line probably just scanned the activities and noticed the blanks without really making sure that they're activities eligible for hours, then. Don't worry about it. This isn't disqualifying in the least. A bunch of my activities have no hours listed and I'm doing okay.

I didn't really put any hours/wk down except for employment...and I would say I've been successful this cycle.
