how bout this early acceptance from temple???

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
on that note, does anyone else send out 'early' acceptances? 'late' acceptances? (if you interviewed far prior to dec. 1st)...

I got acceptance letter before Dec. 1 cuz I live in Philadelphia.

Almost, same zip code!!

Good luck!!!

hey poku, can i ask when you interviewed there and what your stats are?

when i interviewed at UCONN back in AUG, they told us that they had already sent 2 acceptances to their 2 resident students.

they said that they do not have to abide by the DEC 1 protocol when it comes to the resident applicants.

Perfect,

that is true about UCONN. On dec 1st, you can call the school and they will tell you over the phone if you have been accepted or not. The acceptance letters for non CT residents will take about 10 days to be sent out (let you know so you dont panic)

When my friend interviewed at Temple on 11/26, they told him

that they had already sent 200 acceptance letters on 11/25.

Also, they had sent about 300 acceptance letters for 2003 entering class.

😍 Temple

From what I recall of last year's cycle, Temple is ALWAYS the school that sends out acceptances the earliest. It seems they want students to have the acceptance letters in hand by December 1, so they send out a huge batch fairly early, ensuring that west coast peeps will have them by Dec 1. Of course, this means that eastern peeps (or those IN Philly), get them several days before the Dec. 1 date.

When I was interviewing years ago, my interviewers from BU and NYU told me that I was accepted and that was sometime in early October as I recall. I always found that strange. Some other woman interviewing with me at NYU told me that she was told the same thing.
