"How did you pay for your post-secondary education?" on AMCAS

I was looking over my AMCAS application and was wondering about where work study fits into the question. I did a lot of work study during college as part of my financial aid package. Does this count as "Applicant Contribution" or "Financial Need-Based Scholarship"?

it's not a scholarship, it's employment. whatever fits the employment/self-pay category

It's a job. Put it under employment.

I believe answering the question in AMCAS is optional too, so don't feel obligated to reveal your financial situation if you don't want to.
