I love multnomah falls, it (and surrounding area) are my favorite places, so beautiful and great hiking

My best friend and I drove down to Portland from Seattle when I visited her there in August 2004. We went to Multnomah falls and it was awesome!! We also visited a few others around the area but we only stayed one night. We also went to the Chinese gardens and a steakhouse downtown that was really nice but I can't remember the name of it now. It must be great living so close to beautiful places like that. I think that's one of the problems with DFW. Just to get out of the area takes FOREVER. 👎

From the big CO to the big CA...15 hr road trip 🙂 All my life, I've always been moving westward, and after having lived in different parts of the country, I've officially decided that I can only live west of the Mountain time zone.

as of right now, it will be from southeastern Connecticut to Lewisburg, WV. It's about a 10 hour drive, if you don't get confused in NJ and drive an hour out of your way... not that I've done that or anything. Still waitlisted in NYC, which is much closer, especially by ferry.

Chicago, IL to Bradenton FL.. a little over 1200miles.. 18hr33min by car.

Me too!! Funny, we're starting out from so close! There is another kid in my son's preschool class that is moving to Clearwater.

Good time to learn how to do a foley cath, maybe?

Sick thing is I know a nurse that used to do this to herself for long car rides (stole the kits from our unit also)! Still gotta stop to empty the bag though!

Well, lets see................
i'm switching countries....so i guess that means its quite a trip.

i dont work in miles, so 3660 km, or 1 day and 10 hrs. CLEARLY i will not be driving, as i am not crazy enough to sit in my car that long.

Fonthill, Ontario, Canada to Glendale, Arizona

i guess i wont need my winter clothes anymore eh?

July 25: Minnesota --> Tennessee = 980 miles

I don't have to move...my school is 5 miles down the road...jealous much?😎

Salt Lake City, UT to Athens, Ohio or Morgantown, West Virginia...1800-1900 miles. I can't wait to do that drive. Anyone else going to use U-pack?

798 miles or 11 hours and 19 min. Mostly staight up IH35!

From Near Chicago, IL to Kirksville: 323 miles approximately 5.5 hours.😎

Yeah, but you'll have to pass through Oklahoma.

So true!! But I have NEVER driven thru OK--I must say, I am kinda looking forward to seeing OKC. Too bad it will be only about 100 degrees in Aug!!

I'm not horrible jealous actually. I get horrible cases of wander lust. I've pretty much lived out of a suitcase for the last 5 years. That being said, my number 1 is a 6 minute walk from my apartment. If accepted, I'm going to use some of my saved money for a world trip starting in New Zealand -> Australia -> Thailand/Malyasia/India-> Turkey -> a ton of former soviet countries (Starting in Estonia to meet my friend since she speaks Estonian, Russian, and like 3 other slavic languages) and probably finishing for a brief stop in Germany to meet some friends. Oh, and I'm going to buy this for the trip. That should fix my problem of drifting around aimlessly for a few years at least.

Central FL to south FL, about 226 miles (give or take)

...yes...I'm going to the only place in the country that's HOTTER and MORE HUMID then where I live now. WTF?!

😕

im moving from good ol' Delaware to Harrogate, Tn! According to google directions, its about 600 miles from my crib

I'm moving from Nashville, Tn to New York City. According to mapquest, it's about 900 miles or 15 hours away. Doesn't look like I'll be going home too much...
