anyone care to comment on kaplan qbook and how it worked out for you on your step I?

Some students say that they recommend it over Qbank, but both equally crucial in preperation for the step 1. Make sure to try and fit in your schedule for following q books.

NMS for the Step 1 - Picky on details, but good q's
Robbins Review Book - killer path q's. Extremely helpful
Appleton and Lange's Q's for the Step 1 - 2 Full exams, really good
Rapid Review for the Step 1 - Q's are much like the ones in the actual exam

And now.... USMLErx, that's totally optional.

But for the q books above, make sure to go over all of them if possible.

I recommend the biochem section of Qbook. there was an exact question on my USMLE from qbook on what deficiency gives you very low cholesterol (apob). (but i still got it wrong though). In general, deficiency questions were more similar on q book then q bank.

Im using usmle rx and have been pleased so far. Its a nice touch when they cross reference first aid at the botton and hell, how can you go wrong with $59US/month? the only downside is that its a new company and so they have some bugs to work out. More than one occaision my test has crashed on question 48, but luckily my answers were still there when i logged back on. According to IT, they said DONT use firefox.
