Hi!
Has anyone ever submitted their transcript without the matching form? I realize in the grand scheme of things an extra $12 my school charges for including the form isn't that big of a deal. however if I can just send my transcript without the form, i'd rather do that. does anyone have any info on this?

thanks!

The form is required. If you do not include the form, then calculation of your GPA will be put on hold until new transcripts are submitted with the required form. This application is of extreme importance to your future. Why would you try to cut any corners?

You should indeed include the matching form with each of your transcripts as it helps AADSAS match the transcript to your account. However, RockstarDMD's response is not what I was told after discussing this with an AADSAS rep. You most likely will not have to submit new transcripts just as long as the information contained on your transcripts matches your account. But again, Rockstar has a point...the form is there for a purpose and there is no reason to take a chance by not using it.

Thanks for your advice. I asked the question since it seems like there are different ways of dealing with AADSAS when it comes to outside info (ie letters of rec are better off being sent directly to schools). I'll print out the form in case.

I am in a same situation as you and I just called customer services and asked if it's ok without the matching form. A lady there said it's not mandatory. I don't think we should worry that much.

I sent two transcripts last year to AADSAS without forms because they were ordered from out of state and I didn't have any problems with it. I even sent another transcript to them myself because AADSAS did lose one (it was sealed, official) and I didn't send that form either. It was received and accepted just fine. However, if it's possible to attach it, then do it because AADSAS is so incompetent, it may help them manage to correctly process your file. 🙄

Can you perhaps ask your college/university for the chance to have the $12 fee waived? I'm sure that a lot of students just pay it without asking questions, but maybe if you sat down with someone at the registrar's office and explain how much AADSAS costs and that's it's just an extra piece of paper, they might be accomidating.

I mean, $12 isn't much at all, but if that's that main reason you're reluctant to include it, it's worth a shot!
