  1. Pre-Dental
I applied for the Air Force and the Navy HPSP Scholarship with a 3.82 cGPA and 23AA DAT. The AF doesn't release their interview scores but I got a 8/10 and 9/10 on my Navy interviews. Does anyone know if I have a good chance at getting the AF or the Navy? I paid a deposit to 2 dental schools, and the school I go to will depend on whether or not I get HPSP. Thank you!

Not sure what the timeline is for civilian HPSP. For active-duty Air Force, the board is set to meet the last week of February and results will be sent out the first week of March. No guarantee that it's the same timeline for civilian HPSP though. It's a completely different office that oversees the active vs. civilian selection. Hopefully you'll find out soon and that can inform your choice.

Navy:
  • packages were due 12JAN2026
  • the board convenes 09FEB2026
  • results anticipated early March, 2026
I HIGHLY encourage you to communicate with your Navy Recruiter if you want to apply to both HPSP & HSCP. Both are competitive but less people apply for HSCP.
