I am considering apply EDP for Wayne State

[Chlorophyll Oracle]

Wayne State is the ideal school for me. I am a michigan resident. I am a little short on money, I can afford to apply to other schools but would rather not if i do not need to, I am certain that Wayne State is the school I would like to attend.

Here are my stats

MCAT 512
GPA 3.92
Shadowing 50 hrs
Clinical Volunteering: 350 hrs
Non Clinical Volunteering: 400 hrs
I was on the board of a few college clubs


Would I be foolish to apply early decision or do you all believe that I stand a good chance of getting in?

Do some research on the forum about applying EDP! I really don’t know anything about it but I sort of remember it is recommended or encouraged for EFP applicants to go talk to admissions at the school before you apply. Applying EDP and being unsuccessful really puts you behind the game at other schools.

I wouldn't limit yourself with those stats, you could miss out on scholarships/merit aid at other schools in MI!

I agree with the post above, apply to all your state schools, you'll be competitive for all of them.
