Is there anyway to job shadow someone in the field of I/O psych? I am greatly considering an MA program in it but due to the nature of the work, it is practically impossible to get experience before one earns the degree.
I like the earning potential and job security of the field, as well as statistical and organizational work... but i need to try it out first. A long long time ago I thought i was set on behavior analysis because i enjoyed learning about it so much, but when i actually did a field placement, i realized that i couldnt stand working with children! I dont want to spend money on I/O training and then end up disliking it.
