I want out of FP, and into IM. Seeking scramble AOA position.

So I started off cycle and finish PGY 1 in Jan 2018. AOA scramble is Feb 2018. I already have an ERAS application almost finished. The reason I want a scramble position is bc I have only finally decided to go for it a couple weeks ago. Will be having a chat with my PD next month. What tips does anyone have for my goal?
