If Britain left the EU, what would happen to non-British EU graduates wanting to register in Britain? For example, I study in Charles University First Faculty of Medicine in Prague, Czech Republic and our course is recognised by the GMC in Britain due to Czech Republic being in the EU. But if Britian leaves the EU, then would it (and other EU medical schools recognised by the GMC) automatically not be recognised as it's now not part of the EU anymore?

That is interesting but I believe if you are a non UK citizen and you went to a non-UK EU medical school you would probably not be allowed to come to Britain, otherwise you should be fine.

They would still recognize the training done at the school, but they just wouldn't allow you to participate in the matching process.

If this was to happen though it would be such a messy process taking many many years and this kind of thing would likely be grandfathered for all current students.

if they left the EU, u'd have to take the plab
