hi IM05, how's it going.. had some friends from jaffna when i was going to school in bangalore. lost touch.. so then do you speak sinhalese? we had quite a few SL students in med school but they were all from Toronto!! and few spoke sinhalese and the rest spoke tamil.

Hey nimesh, what happened to the picture? I just came back to look at your son. Did you take mam's comment to heart? Ignore them. Can I see your son's picture one more time? I kinda miss that stage. My son is already 5 and he talks power rangersh and static shocksh language.

hey am sorry, but i thought that this is a forum where you can express your opinions freely; so when someone is ready to post their pic or their kin's pic in a public forum am sure they must be pretty receptive and open minded for all comments, and yeah i did not want to post anything superficial...and that was just my opinion for that particular pic..may be i might find him the "really cute" in another pic! and as for nimmy removing the pic...? just scroll up on this page and i can still see the pic...
also, i hope this discussion is closed now and need not strike an unnecessary fire in this cool forum...

The purpose of the visit was religious, to see Swamy Sathya Sai Baba in Hydrabad, and thereafter everything else was fun. Mysore palace, and another place where they had hundreds of statues and sculptures etc.
Oh, the food was unbelievable..awesome.

I have many non indian friends,especially white people who cannot eat any kind of spicy food
as indian food is almost spicy,they stay away from it, even my son does not eat the normal indian food like Dal, rice, roti,saag,
he wants pasta, spagetti, pizza,noodles and has zero tolerence for any thing spicy,though he loves dosa without the spicy masala of course
chinese food is delicious,nutritious and tasty and as premed mentioned is less fatty, I guess it is easy to make and that is why it is very popular
you may feel like indian food is the best in the world because we have been brought up eating that kind of food
but there are lot of other good food from other countries
personally i love mexican food,I also love pizza and lebanese food

I am not saying Indian food is bad, I cannot survive without it, the point I am trying to make is there are lots of other food from differant countries which are equally good, mexican ,italian,chinese,lebanese, greek etc etc
it all depends on individual and his taste , if you eat the same kind of food everyday,you get bored, you need variety
there are times when some guests come to my house and love the food cooked by my wife, and I keep wondering what is so great about this food
that is because I am eating that food everyday,
indian food does have this reputation of being spicy, of course you can make it without adding mirchi and other spicy stuff
the bottomline is each individual has their own taste and likings
like ravi does not like mangoes, which we find it strange but that is her choice

MSG!!!! 😀 😀 that's what will get to your system. Chinese food can be healthy, if cooked in the appropriate manner. Mexican food is more oily than anything (at least the fast food joints like Taco Villa). Any food can be healthy if the amount of oil used is less than what is being used currently.

Anyone been to an indian restaurant, only to see the buffet items with an inch of oil happily floating at the top?? I LOVE RASMALLAI!!!!!!! 🙂

I am still contemplating abt telling you guys abt my teen age love affair with the biology teacher. I have this irresistible urge to tell this true story to the sdn world. I am not sure whether it is a good idea to pick on my old healed heart wounds while suffering from recent heart ache caused by aarti.

I have to give a little description here abt my bio teacher. She was around late 20s at that time when i was just 17. She was a beautiful woman like south indian version of michelle pfiffer. She always came to school with impeccably pressed handloom sari with rolls of jasmine flowers on her losely combed hair with high heel slippers.
She was a voluptous woman with right curves at right places. I always thought my bio teacher chose a wrong profession instead of becoming a model. She had the most beautiful breasts (like malkova mangoes) than anyone in the whole school. Her waist was like big veena. My class mate girls only had chests like tennis courts and few had lemons. I dont blame them anyway. Indian high school girls always had malnutritious breasts due to late adolescent spurts.

I still dont have a clue why i liked my bio teacher that much. I always moved to front row in her class from the usual last row. It was a joy to watch her lips and adams apple moving during her animal reproduction biology classes. I always helped her carrying students science records to her room. I would be the first student to fetch her cup of tea during her breaks. If some one tried to do that i beat them up. very possessive. I always walked with her to bus stop holding umbrella for her during scorching sunny and pouring rainy days. She also liked me and made me the science leader because of my performance in her class. so we had this working relationship. i always stayed late in school and helped her out.

If there was any day she went on sick leave or some meeting

i missed her like para missing me now.

There was no girl in my class or school attracted me like this bio teacher. Every guy in my class had their own favorite girl. I never had one.
