Hi, all
I was wondering if it was possible to apply hpsp program for 2 years....
If I were to do hpsp for 2 years, do i only serve 2 years after residency and I am done?

Minimum commitment is three years. (And could be longer depending on your residency)

If you take the sign on bonus (was 20k, not sure now), for a 3 year contract, it turns into a 4 year commitment.
If you take it on the 4 year scholarship, it does not add an additional year

Correct. All I meant was that a 4 year scholarship plus the bonus does not equal a 5 year payback (as opposed to a 3 year scholarship plus bonus equals 4 year payback

Yeah, haha I haven't gotten my bonus yet, but the paperwork I signed said 20k. unfortunate

Inflation calculator has the equivalent amount at just over $28k now. HPSP is getting less valuable by the year 🙄
