Hi to all! This is my first post on this forum. I have a interview at UOP on the 16th of Jan. and have found all the info on this site very very helpful! I had a few question for the interview at UOP:
-From what I understand....there will be three seperate interview...one from a professor and two seperate interviews by two students? Is that right?
-What is the writing exercise? Do you get to choose from a few topics? What are the type of topics that are focused upon?
-Any tips from those that have interviewed at UOP?
I would greatly appreciate any feedback! THANKS AGAIN TO ALL! Best wishes to all that are interviewing!

40 views and no posts....i didn't think I was that boring....lol

I bumped the previous thread on this subject. Good luck on your interview! I wish you well.

Try reading the Pharmacy Interview Feedback!!! That is helpful!

I don't know if it's still the same, but I was on the interview committee or whatever it was called when i was a 2nd year at UOP about 7 years back. The questions were chosen by the committee and each interviewer (excluding prof's) would get the list. The interviewer had to choose your questions from that list and it included a wide variety of questions that would change from year to year. The prof's could of course ask whatever they wanted. You would interview with 2 students and 1 prof, separately, in private rooms.
Just check out the usual questions and you'll be fine. Follow the rec's in the other threads here and you will do more than fine. Try and relax, if that's even possible.
And, remember, I didn't do any preparation, didn't have any pharmacy experience, knew nothing about issues in pharmacy and I still got in. So anything you do will still be ahead of me.

Interviewed w/ UOP a few months ago. The interview consisted of a tour, writing sample, and 3 separate interviews (one from a faculty member and two from current pharm students). In terms of the one-one interviews, they were low stress. It was mostly about getting to know you type stuff. The writing sample had an ethical theme to it, although I don't know if it will be the same for you. Good luck.
