I had to write one on the ethics of giving someone an unfair advantage by telling them topics used for interview essays.

I had to write one about someone telling someone about writting an interview essay on an unfair advantage by telling them topics used for interview essays 🙂

As the previous replies mentioned, it is not fair to give out the questions. I will, however, let you know that the question I had at my interview was an ethical question that could have been answered with pretty much zero knowledge of pharmacy. I studied so much before the interview, and it didn't help with the essay at all. Maybe others have different experiences, though.

I personally am not interested in what questions are asked at the interviews,,,,, I know.

BUT how is preparing for an interview by reading POSTED QUESTIONS on SDN Database is OK and preparing by asking someone for what essay question was asked is unethical?

You do not mind advantage you are given when you read SDN Database, do you? Someone has given that unfair advantage to you.

You have a point, but that damage has been done, unfortunately. The interview feedback is especially unfair to those who don't know about SDN.

I agree that interview feedback gives some people an unfair advantage. However, I didn't get too much help in the interview questions and essay topics department. I am sure schools change up the questions all the time because they are aware of this forum and the information that is available for interviewees. My suggestion would be to stay up to date with current events and issues relating to health care and pharmacy. Also do your research on the school and their program/curriculum and find ways to make a connection between your background and the school that you are interviewing at. Your essay doesn't have to be a masterpiece either. Just have 3-5 paragraphs (depending on the prompt) with an intro, conclusion, and transitions between paragraphs.
