Interview for a 2007 position

I just got an offer for an interview not for the 2008 match but to fill an unexpected position for this year October 2007. Pros and cons in accepting a position like this. Any help would be appreciate it. Thsi palce has many fellowships available. I see it mostly positive but is there anything negative: ie; off-timing for fellowship positions, etc. Thanks

wow...that's awesome! I would go for the interview, check it out, if I really like it...go for it. True, it's off-sched, so you may be in the middle come fellowship app season, but then again...a great residency is a great residency. And I am 99.99 per cent sure that you are an IMG, if so, that's really an awesome deal. I would at least consider it very much. Good luck!
