How long should answers to interview questions be? A few minutes? I have my first one next week and I'm a bit nervous. Thanks.

Keep It Simple & or Short Sweetie 🙂

Exactly lol 👍

Just remember not to go off on tangents. Answer the question first, but don't drag it on with unnecessary filler. I have seen a lot of interviewees do this and it looks bad.

I agree, but you don't want to sound too rehearsed or as if you have nothing to say. Depending on the interview set-up, it may be in your interest to turn questions into a topic of conversation.

Minus the whole sweetie part, I get insulted when someone calls me sweetie.

hehe. My advice for making your interview more comfortable is answer the questions with a story or example. It will be more of a conversation that way and not like you're in boot camp.

Keep it simple enough that you don't go on and on about unnecessary details. You want to say all that is relevant to your answer. But don't have awkward pauses, because once you stop, they might assume that you are done.
