Depends on a few factors. There are a few schools that have a very slow application process, but with pretty much all schools it's a disadvantage. In my case, my application didn't get finalized till mid-October and I still got a few acceptances. If you're okay with the obvious disadvantages that come with applying late, then it's worth a shot.
