hi guys,

is it worth holding off for 3 weeks to receive a grade that can potentially only bump up a science and bcp gpa up by .02 at the most? i know this question sounds pretty foolish, but my gpas are on the lower side, so it would be like 3.17-->3.19 bcp and like..3.22-->3.24 for science. the cumulative gpa would only change a little bit.

thanks!

That's an incredibly small jump, no.

No! don't wait for things like that. I have made the same mistake last cycle and it's not worth it. Apply as early as possible. You can always update your application later but you can't change the fact that you applied relatively late. Good luck!

Similarly, would waiting til mid-end June for a jump in BCP 3.1 to 3.2 be worth it?

It is more than what the OP stated... but not sure if it triumphs applying as EARLY as possible as both values are relatively low.

Thanks!

To both preDENT1210 and dent1011's questions,

It would depend on when you think the grade will actually become official on your transcript. Processing gets slower as we approach end of June and July, especially for GPA calculation...

I'm hoping to possibly get off a waitlist. I have learned that it helps a lot to apply as early as possible but I want to present my application in the best light before I submit it. I'm working on my ECs in the event that I need to reapply and will likely submit 3rd or 4th week of June.

Thanks for you reply. My mark should be on transcript by mid-June...
I am thinking to wait for it...
