Is this appropriate to mention during an interview at my top choice?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Depends on the school, your interviewer, and how you phrase it. In most situations, this would probably come across weird or awkward unfortunately.

At one of my interviews, one of my interviewers was very obviously of the same faith as me, so it was very natural to talk about feeling called to enter medicine, etc. But at most of them, including my top choice, it felt like it would have been weird to bring up.

Yes. For one thing, it would make me worry that the the choice to go into Medicine was theirs, not yours.
To clarify, they are holding these gatherings because I have been very passionate about this school for a while, so in essence, they are trying to support my dream. But I see how it would appear if I don't throughly describe the situation, so I might just stay on the safe side and not mention this. Thanks for the input as always!

I think there's a way to express your strong, sincere interest without outright stating it.
