I have gotten my grades back for the fall semester and my gpa for the summer and Fall term was a 4.0. I am slated to take the MCAT in April. I tool the following classes this past semester: Orgo 1&2, Physics 2, Calculus, Chem 2 as well as the labs that correspond with the classes. Will this upward trend suffice to apply?

Upward trends are good but they don't neglect a bad overall GPA. What are your science and cumulative GPAs?

Those GPAs are decent. Keep up the 4.0 semesters and you'll be fine, grade wise.

Goro says 8 science courses are good enough for reinvention, but I think he meant upper level classes and for those with lower GPAs like me. I'd slap my mama for your GPAs. You are good to go, just rock the MCAT.

Wouldn't worry too much about the lower levels at this point. Take a handful of upper levels(3-5) and take care of that mcat and you'll be good.
