Just wanted to come and share that i finally got my part one scores in after about 1 month of waiting. I even surprised myself with what i made....a 96.

I never thought about going into a specialty, but maybe now i should.

I just wanted to spread the good news.👍

Gr8 scores!!! when did u appear for the exam and how was it overall.how far r the decks useful? is it worth stressing on old ques papers?plz share ur views n suggestions if u have any.congrats once again 👍

I took the test in the middle of july. I used the dental decks to study. The test went ok, no harder than any other test dental school.

muchos kudos! can you share a bit elaborate about the questions? Was it more complex complicated or basics? How good is decks to use? Please help all us here yet to take exams by givin us a real good picture n we wud be profoundly thankful. I know it wud be time takin to do it, pls be generous in sharin your ideas. That is a big score....i gave my part1 today... it was good.... do you know what is the average socre going on? do i have to wait for 3-4 weeks for result or ADA will deliver results before 3-4 weeks...!!

How was the exam on the whole?Are decks gud enuf to manage it?was there lot of high funda stuff or many unknown questions?

there were some Qs(around 20) which were over the head... a lot of very easy questions.... a big number of questions from the dental decks.... but... refresh your concepts before going through decks... but do decks twice throughly...

hi......i did kaplan 1 or 2 month before and now doing decks.....my exams in 2 wk and im really nervous........im not able to read much these days and don't know what do????????? can u please give some tips how to read in these final days.

All i i did was go through the dental decks one time.

i don't think you can find anybody on SDN so foolish to believe that a singular reading of dental decks can fetch you 96% on Part I.
this site is meant for helping others with genuine ideas/comments, not to belittle others or pull up some stupid post just to gather attention.
kindly post your ADA confirmation number & i will confirm your scores again with the ADA.
last year when i was applying, we had some jerk saying he scored 98% in the new pattern of Part I,
finally he turned out to be a hoax!!!

Bitch..Yes i did go through the decks ONE time. but this does not count all the notes i took off the cards, and how many times i went through those notes that i took. If you think that i really have time to get on a message board and make up things about a test i took, then you can piss off.

i am now sure you haven't even given your NBDE exams yet.!!!!
i can give my ADA number if anybody wants to double check upon my scores,
i have nothing to hide on this site & i am sure no responsible member of SDN would ask me my SSN, cell phone no. or any other personal matter
do come up with some good logical post in the future or else refrain expressing your immaturity!!!!

Dude, you read the decks one time and got a 96 on Part I, Post Jan 07? Come on, some of the freshman might believe that but I dont. My buddy and I got 90's on Pt I, the new format, but we put in work, read like jailbirds. Dont get me wrong congrats on the score, but you just didnt read the decks... you studied! Oh, and it takes more than just a high boards to get in a legit program. Do some externs, volunteer and do research. PD's know when someone "winged" the exam and did well. I know a guy w/ a 95, and didnt get in for that reason. Good luck w/ everything.

You are right. I did study..I studied the **** out of the decks and the notes i took off them. Has it ever occured to you that some people just do not need to study as much as others? Not trying to down grade anyone , just stating a fact.
