Perhaps mixy is a wolfy blocker. She is usually on top of mechanics and this post just sounds like mixy is trying to lead in a backwards way. I just read this as sketchy too.

Then again if the wolves can block, wouldn't they just block yk and then NK her that night?

Because yk was blocked N1 when she was acting sketch and was NOT blocked after she claimed protector.

Wolf blocker would have blocked the protector and killed them the same night.

You know this, dubz...you get converted or what?

is a hella aggressive way to start the game off against a fellow noob-wolf, and I would be very surprised if they both pulled off this interaction without it devolving.

What can I say? I do dumb stuff, including voting/changing my vote at the last minute. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I think I just defended against this in a recent game where I waffled mere minutes before lynch close and I caught a ton of heat for it. Can't remember the exact circumstances or the specific game, maybe Rehab or Meats?

Also Sporty, I made my lynch vote immediately after my previous post without refreshing the page, so yeah I did think I was breaking the tie rather than jumping on a bandwagon.

Yup. I had an opportunity for sleep and i went to bed and missed lynch close.. just like I said might happen in sign ups.
Honestly I trusted sporty (mayor) and Mel, and at the time, AM.
 
I haven't read back to know if I'm justified in thinking this, but I just remembered YK's statement about last night being chaotic, and it's sitting weird to me. Almost like she got converted and couldn't use her ability as a result?

But she's not on the list for lynch right now either, and I haven't read the posts over closely in this regard.

Ok well besides me voting coop instead of paws why? Also I didn't think the paws vote would gain any traction yesterday and yes staff was being wierd, but I didn't have any strong feels one way or another.

This is why I wanted Kal to answer my question about who she protected before I voted. I was thinking either the person she tried to protect got converted or she got converted herself.

I know that would be the best strategy, yes. That doesn't mean every wolf pack is going to think of it. There are other factors to consider too - sometimes blockers aren't allowed to block the same player on consecutive nights, for instance. Plus, if last night was a conversion, it looks like they weren't allowed to kill on the same night (which is the format I believe kaydubs leans towards). I'm just not seeing wolf protector being a thing with the way it looks like this game was set up so far. And I have a hard time believing any villager is feeling that enough to block the player who is more than likely a village protector.

Also considering only one person died last night I'm way more inclined to believe it's a wolf mechanic like double kill to balance out the rez than my previous theory.

Will put my lynch vote out on my second break as I'd like to see how today evolves.

The mischief is the block message which Kal would have known if she actually was blocked N1.

From my mod PM:
"N2 results:
seems someone caused some mischief last night making it impossible for you to do anything.

Elephant don’t care."

At first I thought she was lying about being blocked last night to goad someone into calling her out, not the best plan since a smart wolf would know to keep their traps shut, but I was willing to see how it played out. I may have given YK too much credit with the deviousness though because last time I thought she was pulling a move it was that she just missed something entirely.

This all leads me to think that YK wasn't actually blocked N1, but the problem is that 1. no one has counter claimed protector 2. No one else says they were blocked N1.
