Hi, anyone who can help me with my concern.. my friend and I filed the application to ada with our money order of 215 dollars last oct 24, 2005. Last friday i called ADA to ask about our status, the lady told me that they didnt receive it yet and told me to call them next friday. I just called them and still they say they didnt receive it yet. Does first class mail take that long to reach ADA? I am really worried because i plan to take the exam on december, but until now i dont have confirmation from ADA. Anyone kindly advice me what to do. thanks

If you have sent a registered mail check with postal services. They can track your mail. If you have sent it by regular mail then you should wait for 2-3 weeks.

hi thank you for the reply, i am new in the US, i used their envelop to send it to them, do you think it will get lost or not? i am really scared that i wont be able to take the exam.

The same thing happened to my wife, they did have the information but would never confirm. I called them a couple of times and on the second time they told me they did not have information, but we received the test confirmation from them the next day in the mail. It took us at least 3 to 4 weeks.

Muchacho, is this for the CBT exam? because i am just here for the exam and i am scheduled to go home 3 days after my expected date of exam. I am really worried right now

but if you are really worried, you can use credit card to pay. the receipt and date come out immediately.

thanks, i just used their envelope to send it and then i put my check inside there,it has been 2 weeks now, i am worried because i plan to take the exam this december. then i need to go home
