for q.2-ans is given as 1.

can anyone clear these doubts??

if a patient can only rotate his jaw and not translate what is the maximum amount of opening.
30 mm, 40 mm, 50mm, 60mm

A maxillary right canine may be distinguished from a max left canine because:

1. the root always curves to the distal in the apical one third
2. the distal surface is fuller and more convex than the mesial surface
3. labially, the cusp tip is placed distal to a line which bisects the crown
and root
4. lingually the cervical line slopes mesially

Answer : 2, distal surface is more fuller and convex than mesial surface. Choice 1 is incorrect because although the root is usually curved in its apical 1/3 - it could be curved ineither direction - distal or mesial (distal oftener than mesial), Choice 3 is incorrect because the cusp tip is on a line with the centre of root (OR mesio-facially accor to DECKS) , Choice 4 is incorrect because cervical line is convex/straight with a very even curvature.
Please correct me if wrong.

Q which canal creates a direct entry from oral cavity to nasal cavity?

I only know of the one connection between naso-pharynx and oropharynx which is the area of pharynx bounded by posterior border of soft palate and posterior wall of pharynx (passavant's ridge)..this could also be called the oro-pharyngeal isthmus.
This opening is extremely important in swallowing etc to prevent stuff going up the naso-pharynx and down to trachea...
The ear has an opening into oro-pharynx -pharyngo-tympanic recess/tube.

Submandibular group of muscle- do you mean muscles of digastric/submandibular triangles? The boundaries of this triangle are formed by Ant belly of Diagstric (ant) Posterior margin of mandible and mylohyoid muscle (Sup) and Post belly of Diagastric (Post) ...there are a lot of other muscles enclosed in this space- platysma, hyoglossus etc ..

Fusiform cells: cerebral cortex has pyramidal/spindle shaped cells arranged in 6 discrete layers

pbkal,
yes, the answer is aspirin ingestion, even low doses of aspirin can cause internal bleeding in the stomach and intestine, without changes in normal clotting time and notmal platelet count, however many doctors recommend that their patinets take aspiritn to reduce their risk of heart problems. The drug thins the blood and reduces the risk of clots formin in blood vessels but it cause prolonged bleeding time, which must be taken into account during dental treatment. Hemophilia is a hereditary bleeding disorder. low levels or complete absence of a blood protein essential for clotting causes both. Hope this helps!

condylar guidance. Early stages of lateral movements, the condyle rotate with a slight lateral shift in the direction of the movement. Ths movement influences cusps position not height.
