has anyone else gotten this letter :
Is it sent to every applicant ?
Thanks in advance.
Your application has completed preliminary review and has proceeded to the second level of review. During this phase of the application process every aspect of your application will be weighed and evaluated.
Since the AADSAS form is our only application, no additional materials are required at this time. Unfortunately, due to the number of applications being processed, we are unable to respond to requests for status checks or rush reviews. You will be contacted, in writing, as soon as a determination has been made regarding your application.
As you may know, the USC School of Dentistry is justly proud of its program and its student body. Our most recently admitted class was chosen from an applicant pool of over 2,000 individuals. The average science GPA of the September, 2004 entering class was 3.36 and the average DAT scores (academic, total science and perceptual ability sections) were 19, 19 and 18 respectively. In addition, this class is one of the most racially, ethnically, geographically and academically diverse in the country.
As always, the USC Office of Admissions and our Admissions Conmiittee is dedicated to providing every application with a fair, thorough, and thoughtful review. As such, you may be assured that your application remains a high priority with this office.
