I am been filling out secondaries and while most require science letters, they don't state what discipline the professors has to come from.
I got the Jefferson sec. and they ask for 1 bio, 1 chem, 1 physics and 1 humanities. I have the first and the last, but not chem or physics, because i don't know those professors well enough. I would have though my upper level biomedical science letters would have more importance...
They tell you that you can explain why you don't have letters from these people, but will this significantly lower my chances?
Thanks!

I'm not sure, but I've heard that for non-trads they are understanding about it. Since I have been out of grad school for like 2 years and undergrad for 4, I just said that I couldn't get these letters and what letters I would be providing instead.

For me it's 2 graduate bio professors, a PI, and my supervisor from Peace Corps.
