Sorry is this topic has been beaten to death but i had a few questions:

Do LOR's necessarily have to be from professors?

The only professors im really strong with his my current thesis professor. I feel that perhaps the dentist i job shadowed and a former employer ( i worked at a limo), really knew me best as a person. So i was wondering what to do

Also I was wondering how many LOR's we exactly need? 3?

the number of LORs you need will vary from school to school (3-4, etc). some schools will explicitly state that LORs must come from faculty. imo, your former emloyer letter will be good as an extra letter. dentist letter will be valuable as well.

So would instructional assitants from the faculty or perhaps TA's also work?

and where can i find out which school requires how many reference letters?

How much do the leters of evaluation account for?

darn now im stressing
