Listing alternate name for parent on AMCAS?

My mother was my supervisor for one of my significant activities. I’m afraid that it’d look a little unseemly if whoever’s reading the application notices (nepotism).

However, my mother has used an alternate name before (different from her professional name). So, technically it wouldn’t be lying if I wrote that name on AMCAS, right?

Yeah, please don’t obfuscate here. It’s not a big deal to disclose this - plenty of people worked with/for their family members. It’s better to be straightforward than get caught being disingenuous.
