I didn't see a fee on the Stafford Loans either. Only the 3% origination fee with Grad Plus.
I plan on living below my means to pay off my loans as quick as I can, so that is why I am looking towards the lenders with principal reductions. I'm pretty sure the IRR is better for those people who plan on extended their loans out for 30 years or so.
