Loma Linda Applicants

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
I don't think you have to be Seventh Day Adv. yourself necessarily, just to be comfortable with their philosophy, etc. Isn't Loma Linda like alot of other schools and religions, like the Jesuit schools, or the Utah schools?

I am applying and I am a congregationalist. I think they ask for a letter from your minister on the secondary, and ask you to talk about your religious/nonreligious experiences but they are pretty reasonable.

Anyone else have any other opinions??

for real? Even if I am not seventh day adventist, I have to get a letter from my minister?

No...you DO NOT need a letter from a minister. However, it will probably help for LL. I interviewed there my first time around(i'm roman catholic) and didn't have a letter from a religious person and my friend(nonSDA) got in without a letter from a religious person.
