No A call for me.any A calls today?
No A call for me.any A calls today?
When i got accepted earlier this year, i got my acceptance call at 6:59 PM CST.I think someone said they got accepted via call at night? Does anyone know how late they might call?
They might have been on located in an eastern time zone, which would make it a three hour difference (I think?). So 5 PM Pacific would be 8 PM Eastern. I'm not sure what the working hours of the admissions committee are, but that could explain the late night call.I think someone said they got accepted via call at night? Does anyone know how late they might call?
not a current student but have learned that lectures are indeed recorded and attendance is not mandatory for all lectures. for board exam preparation the school provides access to ambossfor current students: are lectures recorded or is attendance mandatory for all? also what kind of resources are provided for board exam preparation?
Pretty sure it's been Thursdays!Do they have a day they normally call to give the A or has it just been random?
Thank you!Pretty sure it's been Thursdays!
It's been every five Thursdays so far. And the most recent one should have been 4/3, although no one posted about an A call. Going off of that, the next "A day" should be 5/8. 🤷♀️Do they have a day they normally call to give the A or has it just been random?

Do you know anything else about the MMS? Do you have to apply through AMCAS again next year and re-apply?I know that it might be difficult for some to hear that they were rejected and offered the MMS program instead, but think of it as an amazing opportunity to complete med school in 5 years instead of 4.
They chose you because they believe that you have what it takes to be part of the entering class of 2026. Also, not everyone is offered this opportunity - you have to be invited!
The PD told me that 15 out of the 19 MMS students started med school the following year, and the ones that didn't make it either had personal issues that interfered in their studying or they had really bad study habits.
Yes, but they said you don’t have to interviewDo you know anything else about the MMS? Do you have to apply through AMCAS again next year and re-apply?
Tomorrow is the commit to enroll date so I'd expect to see a lot of movement next week or the one after! Blessings and all the best!any recent movement/updates?

Unless there is another new scholarship? I think they might be referring to the IEHP Health Scholars scholarship, which is not based on being SDA or URM. You receive the scholarship if you agree to stay in the Inland Empire for ~5 years after residency. This is offered to you in your 1st year, usually towards the end. Also, if you are in the AdventHealth Orlando or Kettering Ohio program you will most likely not be eligible. This is just a trend that I have noticed in people who get this full scholarship, not official stuff from Loma. Usually, these students are almost always SDA and URM which makes sense because they want incentive to help diversify medicine. If you have a full ride here, I would take it. Its a good school and I have been satisfied with my training and preparation to match into my specialty of choice.
