Loma Linda Interview Went Well????

I interviewed this week at Loma Linda. I am SDA and Go to the graduate school at LLU. However, I was not in an interview group or anything. I just had two long interviews. I have been hearing that they do group interview days with a tour etc... I left my interviews feeling good with a smile, but I am still a little worried. What do you guys think??? OH and how long does it take to get a response??

I interviewed there with a group of students on Tuesday and left feeling that my interviews went well...if fact, I have been daydreaming about LLU all week now!

I met a current med student after the interview program and she said that if you received your 2' quickly then chances are that you may receive a decision letter quickly. Otherwise, no one mentioned anything about the LLU time-line at any time during the program.

Do you know how much longer they will be interviewing? I am still waiting. I don't have much hope though. I took the Aug. MCAT and did okay but not great. I may need to re-apply next year but I would love to go to LLU and stay near home. I am not SDA but I am Christian, very involved in my church. Do you think I still have a chance?

I didn't do too hot on the MCAT either. I was complete mid october, got the invite mid jan. It never hurts to call and ask. I wish you the best of luck. It is a wonderful school and you really feel like you want to be a better person when you're there.

What I heard from a fellow interviewee is this: The admission committee reviews your application after interview, and they want you, you get accepted. If not, you go back in the applicant pool to be reviewed at a later time. If on the 2nd time around they want you, you get in. If not, back into the pool. This goes on untill the class is filled ( I assume). This is just hearsay really, so take it for what it's worth. I know an accquaintance who was accepted the day before classes started! So don't give up hope!

Hey dupp, thanks for the info. If I remember correctly, that quote from Taking Back Sunday is from their song "You're so Last Summer." Good song. I like "Cute without the E" also.

Anyways, would you or anyone else know when LLU has their committee meeting. I heard from some other interviewee that they have their meetings every other Friday. I'm not sure if that is correct but if it is that means they would be meeting this Friday. Anyone know more about this? I'm anxiously awaiting a decision...
