Does anyone know what schools are super strict about LOR being on official letter head and signed? My writers submitted their letters through Interfolio and I'm not sure if they wrote on letter head and signed them. Starting to freak out about having to reach out to all my writers and having them resubmit....any thoughts on this? Is this a big deal?

If you look at the website for each school you're interested in applying to, there might be some that explicitly stipulate whether an official letterhead and signature is required or not.

It's generally good practice to include both of these when writing an LOR so I wouldn't sweat it too much. I would think your advocates had the sense to include them both.

You call call interfolio. They'll look at each letter for you and tell you if there's a signature and letterhead. I've had them do this for all of my letters. I would highly recommend checking this and having your letter writers resubmit if they didn't. No sense in limiting your amount of applications due to something as silly as this.

So I called Interfolio. 5 of my 6 letters are missing either the official letterhead or a physical signature...I'm starting to reach out to my letter writers to get them to resubmit. The rest of my application is ready to submit, so do you think it's OK to submit my application and resend the letters once they're finalized? Or would this keep me from getting secondaries? I just don't want to wait any longer to submit my application.

Are the letters already in your AMCAS/AACOMAS or just sitting in your interfolio dossier?

Oh good grief!

Not going to matter either way, schools won't review your application until all LORs are submitted.

The letters are sitting in my Dossier, I haven't forwarded them to AACOMAS yet. Can I submit my application and add in the letters as I get them corrected?

Probably not honestly. Often, letters of recommendation are PART of the secondary. You could submit to one throwaway school if you're just trying to get verified then add all other schools once you get your letters. Yes you can add in the letters after you submit.

Edit: I replied to the wrong post. This was in repsonse to your questions about receiving secondaries without LORs.

Like I wouldn't even get secondaries until they receive all my LORs?

Some schools send out automatic secondary applications. Others, you are correct in that they withold sending you a secondary because they consider your primary incomplete.

I see no benefit in sending your application to all schools without these letters. Submit to one throwaway school to get verified then send to the rest once you have your letters. Even if you are sent a secondary, you're still waiting on your letters before an II.

I'd just prepare for the worst and avoid my issue last cycle. My health advisor didn't have official letterhead and he didn't sign it... it took him upwards of a couple weeks just to figure it all out (he's not technologically inclined either... so hopefully your peeps will be versed in how to upload / scan / use the interweb etc).

I'd say be preemptive and proactive, and just get that ball rolling.... sooner the better, if your institutions are sticklers.
